Sun Hills Layan Phuket, developed by Zero Developments (Sun Hills Co., Ltd), is a 388-500 unit complex in the Layan area with completion expected in 2027, and construction is progressing on schedule per contractor updates. However, a local residents group (Layan Residents Group) formally called for an investigation into EIA and environmental law breaches specifically naming this project, following a minor landslide at one of the sites in late October 2025. An Administrative Court rejected a bid to halt Layan-area developments broadly, not specifically targeting Sun Hills Layan. No charges have been filed against the developer or its directors, and no buyer losses have been reported.
